What is the 3-2-1 backup rule?

A common backup design keeps 3 copies of data on 2 media types, with 1 copy off site. Separating the copies reduces the chance that one failure affects them together.

How often are backups performed?

We typically configure backups to run hourly for critical data and daily for full system images. However, we can customize the frequency (RPO) based on your specific business needs.

Can you recover from a ransomware attack?

Recovery depends on an unaffected restore point. We configure immutable storage to resist changes from production accounts and ransomware, then test the restore process against retained recovery points.

Is my backup data encrypted?

Absolutely. All data is encrypted with AES-256 bit encryption before it leaves your building and remains encrypted while stored in secure cloud storage.
