Text Message Consent.

Where you agree to receive texts from 850 IT Services, LLC, what each box says, and how to stop.

Last updated September 17, 2026

Who sends the texts

850 IT Services, LLC, doing business as 850 I.T. and Software Services in Miramar Beach, Florida, sends or replies to texts from our numbers, by staff and by automated workflows in our customer management system. This page exists so anyone, including a phone carrier reviewing our texting program, can see the exact consent a visitor gives on our website and every other way a text conversation with us can start. Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service cover the program in full.

We are registering this text program with the wireless carriers, and until that review is approved we record your consent but send no texts to website leads. The first text goes out only once the carriers approve the program.

Where the boxes appear

The same two text message boxes render on every lead form on our site: the contact page, the schedule a consultation page, the request a quote page, the short form on the homepage and on our solution, industry and city pages, and the same form opened from the floating tab on the right edge of the screen. The boxes are native parts of each page, not loaded from anywhere else, so they sit in the page itself the same way the rest of the form does. Both boxes are optional and unticked; leaving them both unticked does not stop you from sending the form, calling us, or getting a reply by email.

The floating tab on the right edge of the screen opens the same form in a dialog. Here it is open, with both boxes showing:

What the boxes say

Box 1 covers replies to your inquiry, appointment confirmations and reminders, and account updates. It is unticked by default.

I agree to receive texts from 850 IT Services, LLC about my inquiry, appointments and account updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

Box 2 covers promotional texts. It is unticked by default and is a separate tick from Box 1.

I agree to receive promotional texts from 850 IT Services, LLC at the number I provided, which may be sent using automated technology. Agreeing is not required to buy anything. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

Links labeled Privacy Policy and Terms of Service sit directly under both boxes on every form.

Website monitoring alerts

Our website monitoring signup at /free-website-monitoring carries its own box, shown once that signup is turned back on, and it is a different opt-in from the two boxes above: it covers only an alert when a monitored site goes down and again when it comes back online.

Also text me from 850 IT Services, LLC when my site goes down and when it is back. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

After you opt in

Once the program is live, the first text you get after ticking Box 1 confirms what you agreed to:

850 IT Services, LLC: You are subscribed to texts about your inquiry, appointments and account updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out.

Other ways a text conversation can start

If you text 850-400-2828 first, we reply to that conversation. If your call to that number goes unanswered, our system is being set up to send one invite to continue by text, worded like this: "850 IT Services: Sorry we missed your call. How can we help? Reply here or call 850-400-2828. Reply STOP to opt out." Nothing further sends unless you reply. We are also adding a short line to our phone system asking a caller whether they want a text follow-up; once that is live, a spoken yes is recorded the same way a web opt-in is, with the exact words used and the time of the call.

Our booking pages ask the same Box 1 question when you schedule a visit or a call; we are updating the wording on each calendar to match Box 1 exactly.

Existing managed IT clients also agree to texts under a clause in their signed service agreement, covering support ticket updates, appointment reminders and billing notices.

Stopping, help, and rates

Once the program is live, reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will get one confirmation and nothing further unless you opt in again:

You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.

Reply HELP for help:

Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&Data Rates May Apply.

You can also reach us directly by calling 850-400-2828 or emailing support@850it.com. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Ticking either box is optional and is not required to buy anything from us. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What never leads to a text

Our website checks at /tools/email-security and /tools/website-health ask only for an email address; they collect no phone number and never lead to a text. The careers application asks for a phone number but has no text message box, so applicants are never texted under this program. Our chat widget, opened from the Live Chat tab, says it will reply by email to the address you provide. It has no text message box at all, so nobody is texted from a chat conversation under this program.
