Trades and contractors
Your crew is in the field. Your systems should be too.
Scheduling, quoting, invoicing, and a phone line that rings on every truck. We set up the tools plumbers, builders, and contractors use, and we keep them running.
- Quotes and invoices from the job site
- Managed tablets and phones

Two minutes. A person reads it, usually the same business day.
In plain English
What we see in trades and construction.
The office is a truck, and the truck has no IT department.
Common problems
Project files on one laptop, a scheduling app three people set up differently, a website that looks fine but never rings, and a shared password on every tablet.
What we do about it
Field service software set up once and properly, managed tablets and phones that can be wiped when they fall off a truck, backups of every project folder, and a website built to turn a search into a call.
What it costs to ignore
Ransomware on the estimating computer stops every bid. A dead laptop takes a year of photos and change orders with it. A slow site sends the lead to the next contractor.

How it works
From first call to a company that runs from the truck.
- 01
Free assessment
We look at how jobs get quoted, scheduled, invoiced, and photographed today, what is backed up, and what the website does with a lead. You get a written plan in plain English.
- 02
Set up the tools once
Field software configured properly, devices enrolled and locked down, backups running, and the website rebuilt or fixed to bring calls.
- 03
Managed, month after month
Monitoring, patching, and backups run quietly. Your crew has one number to call. We review what is working every quarter.
For the technical reader
For the owner who does the estimating at night.
Open any question for the technical detail.
Which field service software do you work with?
The common ones for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fencing, concrete, and general contracting: scheduling, dispatch, quoting, invoicing, and payments. We set it up around your workflow, connect it to your accounting, and train the crew.
What happens when a tablet falls off the truck?
It is enrolled in device management, so we wipe it remotely, and the replacement gets the same apps and sign-in without starting from scratch.
How do you make the website bring calls?
Fast pages that work on a phone, one page per service and city you want, click-to-call and short forms, and Google Business Profile tied in so reviews and the map listing work together.
Can you connect the field app to accounting?
Yes. Invoices, payments, and customer records sync to QuickBooks or your accounting system so the office does not retype them.
What about the plans and photos on one laptop?
They move to shared cloud storage with daily backups and permissions, so the laptop becomes replaceable.
We're a general contractor and IT was never something we thought about until ransomware locked up all our project files. 850 IT Services got us back up and running, then put systems in place so it wouldn't happen again. Now they handle everything from our server to our field tablets. We build houses, they keep our tech running. Fair trade.
Questions
Questions contractors ask about technology in the field.
Is managed IT right for a contractor our size?
Yes. The tools are sized to your crews and office, and the monthly fee is set after the assessment so it covers what you have.
Can you fix the website we already have?
Often, yes. If the site is quick and well built, we improve it rather than start over. If it is a slow template we rebuild it and keep the address.
Do you handle the Google listing?
Yes. Google Business Profile setup, categories, photos, and review requests are part of the website work.
How fast do you respond?
If the whole business is down, a person is on it within 30 minutes during business hours. If a crew or a key system is down, within 2 hours. If one person cannot work, or you have a request, someone is on it the same business day. Questions and projects get an answer the next business day.
